So Much to Do at FGCU
As Southwest Florida’s hub for arts and athletics, our campus is constantly abuzz with live performances, exhibitions and events that showcase noteworthy artists and musicians as well as our own stars in the making.
The Arts
The Bower School of Music & the Arts features 150 art, music and theatre events each year, many of them free and open to the public.
Athletics
Artistry of a different sort draws students, alumni and sports fans to “Dunk City,” as we became known with the national rise of our basketball program.
Facilities
The Lee County/FGCU Aquatics Center invites the whole family to dive into the fun or learn to swim. Any student or full-time faculty/staff with a valid Eagle ID may use the pool free.
Discover FGCU
While the university’s primary business is educating the leaders of tomorrow, there is something here for everyone. We invite you to learn more about your regional university and take part in the exciting programs and activities available.
License Plates
Whether you’re a member of the Eagle family or a Florida Gulf Coast University fan who wants to show support for the region’s premier higher-education institution, the FGCU specialty license plate signals your loyalty to the university. It also helps ensure life-changing opportunities for generations of Eagles by funding scholarships. FGCU is the only school in the Florida State University System where all proceeds of plate sales go to scholarships.
Custom vanity tags are available; inquire at the tax collector's office.
