Hello to Wings Up Early Alerts!
Wings Up for Student Success Phase 1 is active for Case Management, Early Alerts, and referral tools for the Spring 2025 term! Enhancements to Early Alerts have been released for reporting student academic concerns and is accessible from the "Help and Resource" menu within Canvas.
Upon clicking the Academic and Early Alert link you're directed to the new form which enables you to complete fillable boxes and select recommendations for University staff to take action on.
The new Academic Early Alert features include:
- Enhanced faculty-friendly Early Alert form
- Online submission of nudges and alerts with tracking capabilities
- Faculty submission history view
- System-generated communications based on faculty preferences
There is no action necessary on your part, however, if you experience unexpected issues with access or use of the Academic Early Alert system, please submit a work order by emailing Helpdesk@fgcu.edu. If you have specific follow up questions or concerns about students whom you have submitted through the Academic Early Alert System, please follow up with an email to WingsUp@fgcu.edu.
