Students must apply by November 1 for Early Action, or March 1 for Regular Decision.

• Prescreening/Informational Videos
  • All guitar, saxophone, piano, voice, and music therapy applicants (regardless of instrument) are required to submit videos attached to their application on Acceptd. Guitar, saxophone, piano and voice videos will be used as a prescreen, and approved applicants will be invited to the live auditions. Confirmation emails will be sent no later than the week before auditions after a review of the prescreen. Applicants are encouraged to avoid making travel arrangements until they receive confirmation of their audition date. If an applicant is denied, they may reapply as early as the following semester. If the applicant is denied again after the second attempt, they are no longer eligible to apply.
  • Music Therapy applicants will submit singing videos for informational purposes only (see audition requirements for details); music therapy applicants who are guitarists, vocalists, pianists, or saxophonists will be submitting the music therapy singing videos in addition to their required prescreening videos.

• Students will select the audition date during the BSM application process on the Acceptd website.

• You will receive an email verification immediately after completing your application.
• You will receive an additional email with the confirmation of your audition and your specific audition time no later than the Friday before your selected audition date.
  

• To apply for all federal, some state, and most FGCU aid programs, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online every year. FGCU has established a March 1st priority-filing deadline.
• The FGCU Foundation Scholarship Application opens annually from October 1st - May 1st. Visit the FGCU Foundation Scholarship Application site for more information. 

Acceptance and non-acceptance letters will be sent via email approximately one week after each scheduled audition. Admission to the Music program is only complete once the student has been accepted by both the Music Department and FGCU Undergraduate Admissions.
