Performing & Visual Arts
Cultural Connections
Our vibrant arts scene engages students and community members with performances and
exhibitions by acclaimed art, music and theatre professionals, while showcasing the
inspiring work of our budding undergraduate talents.
What better way to master the art of living than by living with art?
Art
Exhibitions and lectures in the Wasmer Art Gallery, ArtLab Gallery and across campus provide opportunities to engage with local, national and international artists as well as fellow students and faculty.
Music
The beautifully designed 210-seat U. Tobe Recital Hall provides an intimate setting for a variety of concerts and recitals by visiting artists, faculty and students and community outreach workshops.
Theatre
From Shakespeare to Broadway musicals to world-premiere plays, our innovative black-box Theatrelab creates an intimate setting for unique live theatre experiences by students and professionals.
Bower School of Music & the Arts
Host to more than 150 local and visiting arts events each year, the Bower School serves as the hub of campus cultural life while preparing students to excel as professionals in the arts and related fields. The school collaborates with other academic disciplines through innovative programs such as its Crossroads of Art and Science Residency.
