Through these organizations, FGCU faculty conduct research, collaborate with their regional business partners and offer their expertise, sharing resources and contributing to the community.

The Center for Supply Chain Excellence (CSCE) seeks to achieve excellence in supply chain management through high-quality leading-edge educational programs and outreach activities in partnership with industry. The CSCE is committed to bringing together professionals in the supply chain management with LCOB faculty and students to facilitate knowledge partnerships and to develop and disseminate best practices in supply chain management. The CSCE will facilitate the education and development of students to become future leaders in supply chain management, as well as offer certification and educational programs for industry professionals.

The Southwest Florida Leadership Institute in partnership with the Leadership Collier Foundation, bolstered by the support of a $22.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA), Is proud to present our fall series on “Intelligences in the Workplace.” This series delves into the critical roles of cultural, emotional, and cognitive intelligence in the workplace, emphasizing their distinct and synergistic impacts on professional success. Participants will explore practical strategies for developing these intelligences, illustrated through real-world examples and interactive activities. By the end of the series, attendees will be equipped with the tools to enhance their interpersonal and cognitive skills, fostering a more effective and harmonious work environment. By addressing critical areas in human resources management, talent acquisition, and leadership development, the workshop series aligns with the mission of the Southwest Florida Equitable Jobs Pipeline to cultivate a skilled workforce and drive economic prosperity in the region. SWFL Real Estate: Third Quarter 2024 Report

The residential market continued to level off during Q2 2024, as evidenced by the latest data available. Single-family home sales in the region have plateaued over the past quarters and remain below their 2022 apex, with declines primarily concentrated across the coastal counties. Single-family and condominium real median prices in the region also continued to fall, with declines observed in most Southwest Florida counties.

Regional Economic Indicators: September 2024 Report

The RERI has published Regional Economic Indicators for September 2024. The monthly publication represents a collection and analysis of economic indicators including airport passenger activity, taxable sales, tourist tax revenues, labor force, employment, real estate, and consumer sentiment for the Southwest Florida workforce region.
